Designer who builds. Builder who designs. I'm an old-school designer who coded his own work back when you had to, and now I build it with agentic AI. 25 years shipping product across hardware, consumer software, and enterprise platforms, and I lead design at Battle Motors today.
I've spent my career going where the product needed me. Principal UX at Amazon Lab126 on the Kindle, Senior Creative Director at Samsung's ID8 innovation lab, CPO at Romeo Power, lead UX at Bose Professional, design leadership at Intuit and EA Sports, and now Chief Design Officer (CDO) at Battle Motors.
I can own the product story, design the system, and build the front-end in Next.js or React with agentic AI, wired to the live data and APIs behind it. The six case studies on this site are live in production. All of them shipped this year. The newest is Tempo Tunes, my first solo app: I registered as an Apple and a Google Play developer, took it through both store reviews, and it is live for download in both stores today.
I make things. I prototype with 3D printing and metalwork, and I hold patents across four product domains. Building is my favorite part of the job, whether I'm alone at the bench or in the middle of a team, and sharing what we make is half the fun. If you're building something, I'd love to hear about it.
